And then, once everything was in, they put the beds back together, reassembled the wardrobes and got everything sorted so quickly and efficiently. They worked so hard, but never made us feel like we were an inconvenience or that they were rushing to get away.
And I really have to say something about Paul because he was just lovely.
He wasn’t only professional — he was genuinely kind. He seemed to completely understand how overwhelming and stressful moving day can be, and he had such a lovely way about him. He made me feel like everything was going to be okay, and that meant more than he probably realised. When you’re surrounded by boxes, furniture and a million things going through your head, having someone calm, friendly and reassuring there makes such a difference.

Mike and the young lad who was with them were equally fantastic. I’m kicking myself that I can’t remember the young lad’s name because he absolutely deserves a mention too! They were both so polite, respectful and hardworking, but at the same time just really likable, lovely people. There was no attitude, no fuss, no complaining — just a group of genuinely good guys who worked incredibly hard and were a pleasure to have around on what was a very big and emotional day for us.
That’s what I think made Sharps stand out so much. Of course, you expect a removal company to move your furniture from A to B. But these guys did so much more than that. They gave us reassurance on a day when we really needed it. They took care with things that mattered to us. They were respectful of our home, our belongings and, most importantly, respectful of us.
By the end of the day, I honestly felt incredibly grateful that we’d chosen them.
We are now in our forever home, so I’m really hoping I never have to go through moving house again! 😂 But if, for whatever reason, I ever did, I wouldn’t even consider using anyone else. I would book Sharps Removals again without a second thought.

From Karl coming to have an initial conversation and review, to the ongoing and delightful communication from Lauren, and to the movers themselves – John, Paul, Steve (not quite Ringo), funny, easy going, helpful, calming.. I could wax lyrical about how effortless they made our move, and how much they made us feel at ease.

They’re incredibly well prepared, fairly priced, and genuinely wishing you the best and offering endless support and solutions. They fitted our dishwasher and washing machine and saved us from getting scammed from a plumber, and also offered a solution and storage for our couch, chairs, and larder which we couldn’t bring with us on the day.

I would definitely reccomend Sharp for your move, and I’ve already passed their details on as they’re that good!

I dread the thought of moving again, but if I do, it will be with the almost Beatles (Sharp Removals ofc).

Paul and Lauren packed our three-bedroom house and garage meticulously, simplifying unpacking. Lauren in the office was great when dealing with constant change, and on the actual day of the move the 3 gentleman (Paul, Mark and Mike) who physically moved us out were brilliant.

We contacted Sharp Removals about moving us at very short notice and Lauren responded instantly on a Friday night and had arranged for Paul to come and view our property on Saturday, and by Sunday they had moved us out… they did what we assumed would be impossible and moved us out in less than 48 hours from our initial enquiry. The whole team were so sympathetic towards our situation and went above and beyond to help resolve what was a very stressful time for us and get us moved at very short notice.
